The Spanish Society of Cosmetic Chemists:

Under this historical title, today the SEQC brings together a broad and multi-disciplinary group of professionals working in the fields of cosmetics and perfumery.

Its objectives are:

• To promote the scientific and technological development of cosmetics in our country
• To promote the training of young professionals coming into this field. Our intention is to make the SEQC known to all those graduates in whatever discipline who might find our sector an attractive area in which to develop their careers. We offer them information and the possibility of receiving specialised training within a framework governed by professionals from the sector
• To collaborate with other institutions and the authorities in questions relating to the cosmetics industry
• To provide an open forum for contact and the exchange of information between professionals and companies related to cosmetics
• To centralise and publish information related to job opportunities exclusively for members of the SEQC
• To organise conferences and lecture series periodically on subjects related to the profession
• To give members opportunities to update their technical knowledge, and to answer queries
• To edit the magazine NCP (Cosmetics and Perfumery News), distributed free to all members to communicate news, technical or scientific events taking place, legislative or regulatory changes etc.
